CONTRAINDICATIONS

If you have any of the following conditions you cannot experience a Chemical Peel service:

Use of Accutane in the past 12 months

Open lesion or cold sore

An active infection in the treatment area

Skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea or rashes

An autoimmune disease such as lupus + scleroderma 

A viral concern such as HIV or hepatitis

Anticoagulants Therapy

Melanoma or lesions suspected of malignancy

Active sunburn

Pregnancy/Lactating 

 

PRIOR FACIAL RULES:  You cannot receive a Chemical Peel if you have had aggressive facials that remove the top layer of the skin either two weeks before or after the date of your Chemical Peel treatment (ie: Hydrafacial, Dermaplaning, Oxygeneo, Chemical Peel)

AHA’s/BHA’s cannot be combined with High Frequency skin treatments either one week before or after the date of your Chemical Peel treatment.

Notify me if you have an Aspirin allergy or Salicylic sensitivity. The service can be performed, but I will not be able to use Salicylic Acid on you. I can safely use an alternate acid. 

 

FILLERS + INJECTABLES RULES:  You cannot receive a Chemical Peel if you have had Botox, aesthetic fillers, injectables, or laser treatments within two weeks prior to the Chemical Peel service. 

 

FACIAL WAXING RULES:  You cannot receive a Chemical Peel if you have had facial waxing within one week prior to the Chemical Peel service. After your Chemical Peel service you must wait one full week before any waxing in facial area can be performed. Tweezing and threading are allowed sooner than one week post-service
